Mini Autumn Candle Haul - Items Under £3

Good evening readers!

Do you find it impossible going into a candle shop and just buying one candle?
I officially think my candle addiction is getting way out of hand but they are so nice, I need extra room in my house for them all. I just wanted to share these recent purchases with you that I love!

Nantwich Garden Centre - Autumn Jar - £2.99
The other day I went to a lovely garden centre in Nantwich they had some beautiful seasonal displays. This jar is so cute and I love the colour plus it has a lovely copper handle. Its currently in my front room on the fireplace with a little candle in but it could be used for just décor or a possibly a pencil holder.

Yankee Tarts - 'Spiced Orange and 'Cranberry Pear' - £1.49 each
Yankee candles are a big love of mine and the smells are unbelievable.
I religiously use the Tart Burner every night so we tend to go through them very quickly.
I loved both scents as well as the colours but I found it so hard to pick just two as they smell good enough to eat! Some people think that Yankee candles are too expensive but I feel that they are great as present and the Yankee Tarts are really reasonable if you get a Tart Burner.

The Range - 'Caramel' and 'Orange Blossom' - £1.99
I have never been to The Range before as soon as I saw these candles I knew I had to have them.
I am in love with them both but my favourite scent is 'Orange Blossom'. I really like the actual candle jar as it has a nice wooden lid and I know I can reuse them after use. Plus I have seen bigger candles in the same style in other shops costing more so I feel the price is really reasonable too.

What is your Autumn Scent?

Amphora Aromatics Seaweed & Aloe Eye Gel | Product review

Hello everyone,

So way back in June I was send some lovely products from Amphora Aromatics from a lady named Sophie.

'Amphora Aromatics is one of the UK's largest suppliers of pure essential oils and aromatherapy products'. They have a wide range of products ranging from oils, creams and moisturisers to perfumes and roll-ons.

The product I tested-  Seaweed & Aloeeye gel. Along with the gel I kindly received two samples a Tea Tree Gel and Almond and Sandalwood hand cream.

Seaweed & Aloe - Refreshing Eye Gel 50ml

The gel is a natural and gentle makeup remover and it also helps to smooth and cool your eyes. The product packaging is very natural with very neutral colours. The size of the eye gel is 50ml and it comes in a little bottle with a pump lid. It's perfect travel size as its under 100ml and would be great to freshen up on a long hall flight. When using the gel the sizes that come out is really reasonable and goes along way so you don't need that much product when applying. The gel is a light green colour, it is very weightless and scentless but is cooling when applied onto skin.

You apply the product with your fingers and remove with damp cotton pads. Because of the Aloe Vera juice and cucumber extract the gel is really refreshing and helps to reduce eye puffiness and redness. I found it really helped soothe my eyes when removing makeup and it didn't sting like some remover products.

I enjoyed using both the samples too. The Almond and Sandalwood hand moistoriser was my favourite it is really rich and smells like bakewells plus I found it did help to hydrate my hands and cuticles.

Overall I enjoyed using the products and I will continue to use the eye gel as I found it helped. Thanks to Aropha Aromatics for sending me the products to test.

Speak soon,
Milly xx

W7 Makeup Review

W7 Cosmetics is a brand I have seen many of times in stores or either on the internet. But hasn't been a brand I have tried before apart from a couple of lip balms. I was lucky enough to be sent a lovely box of goodies from Olivia to review.

Candy Blush
Angel Dust
£4.95

Candy Blush is a very subtle pink blusher, its a pretty baby pastel tone and is very light and natural. I would use this as a day to day blush but I personally prefer to use bronzers. It opens up into a good compact size with a mirror on the top, good for on the go use. It is the same size as a small compact mirror and the price is good. I would take this product to work to use but I don't think I would use this product on a night out.

Lip Paint Queen Of Hearts
Lip Paint
£4.95

Lip Paint is a strong pink lip stain. I do love pink but I found this colour is too bright for me. I found that it dried my lips out BUT because its a lip stain it lasted well. I think price is reasonable as the product does lasts.

Chunky Eyes
Coffee
£4.95

Chunky eyes is a thick eye shadow. I have 'Coffee'  but it is available in 3 other colours. This eyeshadow has a creamy consistency and is a metallic gold colour. I do like this products and I think you can use this colour through out the year. I have used it a couple of times but feel like it will last well.

Souffle - Blackest Black Mascara
£4.95

Souffle is a mascara that helps to 'whip up your lashes'. Its is a dark black thick mascara, it goes on well and helps to extend lashes but can clump slightly if over applied. It does last well and comes off quickly. For the price it is a good mascara but unfortunately it isn't one I will use everyday.

Angled Foundation Brush
£4.95

The W7 Angled Foundation is a lovely brush! It feels so soft and helps to apply foundation evenly. I do like this brush and I think the bamboo handle makes it strong and nice to use, overall I think its a good quality brush and I feel like it will last well.

Overall I think the W7 products are lovely, I am really grateful to have reviewed them and at the moment I have my eye on the new W7 palettes which have been really popular.

Thank you very much to Olivia for sending me the products.

Have you tried W7 before?

EOS Lip Balm | Beauty Review

Ever since seeing the EOS lip balms, I have always wanted to try one and now I finally have..

I like EOS products. I love the shape, its quite eye catching and I think they are different to your normal lip balm. They are really handy for this time of year to keep in your bag for keeping your lips smooth. EOS balms keeps your lips lovely and hydrated with Shea butter and Jojoba oils they are 100% natural.

I ordered all 3 of mine in packaging of eBay for £13.99 as the company is based in
USA. I think they sell them for $3.29 but because they are so popular its hard to get your hands on them! They all smell amazing and I picked :
Sweet Mint, Pomegranate Raspberry, Strawberry Sorbet

My personal favorite is the Pomegranate Raspberry as
it smells sweet like fresh fruit.

Have you tried EOS lip balms?
Which is your favorite?

Let me know what you think

Top 5 | November Lipsticks

Mua Lipstick Shade 2 - Fave Mua
Mua Lipstick Shade 1 Fave Mua
Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet 47 "L'amoureuse'
Mac Lipstick 'Flamin Go' Fave Mac
Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet 42 'L'eclante'

This blog has been really difficult as there is too many different lipsticks. Today I have focused on 5 lipsticks which I have been using recently. I have a few high branded lipsticks but I seem to generally have more drugstore branded lipsticks..

Mua lipsticks are my all time favorites! Through out my blogs you will realize that I talk about Mua products alot.. I just feel that the price is unbelievable and the quality amazes me, most of Mua products are such reasonable prices, all lipsticks are £1. I practically own all the Mua products and use the Lipsticks and Mascara daily. At the moment I am loving Shades 1 and 2 in the Mua Lipsticks range and these two lipsticks I have been using regularly this Autumn/ Winter, I love these two rich tones and I already spoke about Lipstick 1 in my October Favorites.

Mac lipstick 'Flamin Go' is quite a neutral light colour, perfect all year round. I do like this product but I sometimes find that the texture can be slightly thick sometimes.. now this might just mean that it doesn't suit my lip texture compared to other lipsticks and compare to other people.

You can never go wrong with Chanel lipsticks and again I have picked two lipsticks by the same brand. Both these colors are completely different, Chanel 'L,amoureuse' is a beautiful plum and Chanel 'L'eclante' is a perky pink. I find that Chanel lipsticks are very hydrating and long lasting and do last a good duration of time, I find the Chanel products have to use as I love the packaging and I love the Chanel print in the lipstick!

Which lip products do you prefer?

Trick or treat? October favorites

Trick or treat?
My three treats

Its Halloween 2014 and I love this time of year. Pumpkins, fancy dress, funfairs, Autumn air and warm fires.

These products are my October favourites and I have used these three the most.
I am really loving deep, rich colours this Autumn and I have used these products everyday recently.

MUA Eyeshadow

In my October favorites I have two Mua products. I really love their products and think they are really reasonable pricing. These eyeshadow are perfect size to use everyday and I have been using the far left light brown most. I think you can wear this colour all year round. But it has been my favourite this Autumn and goes well with red lipstick.

MUA Lipstick

My second is my other Mua product, I have brought all of the Mua lipsticks as for £1 each, how can you not? This product goes so well with all my Autumn clothes. It is a deep red/ burgundy and it is nameless but it is shade 1 so I will name it 'Autumn leaf' as it reminds me of beautiful wine coloured, Autumn leaf.

Mac Studio Fix Foundation

The Mac Studio Fix Foundation is my favorite foundation. It is perfect for my skin type and looks great for photos. I normally get N20 but I do tend to use this product either everyday or every other day.

Happy Halloween!
Let me know what your 3 October favorites products are?
