DIY: Autumn Flower Decor

I am currently off work this week so I have more time on my hands to blog and catch up on house duties! I am loving the Autumnal season and this post is another Autumn inspired one.

I love all the rich Autumn colours and I keep seeing pictures over Instagram of different autumn décor/ flowers so I had the idea of creating my very own Autumn Decor.

Earlier today I picked up the red flowers from my local florists which cost £3.

I added a few of my own touches around the flowers like the branches and berries which I picked myself from my garden. I really enjoyed putting it together and I feel I have added my own personal touch! Don't be afraid to do your own thing..

Have you seen any nice seasonal décor recently?

Jo Malone - Lime, Basil & Mandarin Travel Candle Review

Is Jo Malone Overrated?

Jo Malone - Lime, Basil & Mandarin Scented Travel Candle

Jo Malone have a wide range of fabulously, refreshing candles and various beautiful gifts.
The candle itself looks lovely and the overall packaging is very modern and classy. The candle came gift boxed in a Jo Malone bag, which also smelt lovely. The scent of the candle is very fresh and you can definitely smell the peppery basil and the sweet lime. This Jo Malone Travel size candle is £22.00. The candle is only small and I personally do think that the prices are expensive but acceptable for a special gift or a pick me up treat. You are paying more for a stronger, richer scent.

I personally would not pay anymore for a candle unless it was a present. The candle scent is also available in a 100ml Cologne costing £82.00. I know Jo Malone have a lot of fans and I am one.. just not the prices! I would go into a Jo Malone store to check out all the smells and gifts but probably wouldn't come out with much, haha.. hope you enjoyed my mini review I would love know your opinions.

What do you think of Jo Malone?
Do you feel like it is overrated and over priced?

Glitter Lips Review & How-to

If you like glitter you will LOVE glitter lips!

When we received Glitter Lips I really couldn't wait to try it out. I really like all the colours from the Glitter Lips range. I picked Ruby Slippers which is "one hell of a colour". Its a classic, post box red and looks amazing on. You receive your chosen glitter pot, gloss bond and your glitter applicator. Glitter lips is only £12.99, which I think is such good value for money as it lasts well. This product is perfect for nights out and parties and it lasts up to 8hours - I was really excited try it to see how long it does actually last but it stayed on all day from 9-8 at work.

Glitter lips is available - http://www.beautyboulevard.co.uk/
Or if your local - Beautiful, Nails, Body and Soul, Crewe.

 How to do Glitter Lips

  1. Ensure lips are clean and dry - Apply one lip at a time.
  2. Keep lips separate apply a thin coat of the gloss - Allow the gloss to turn from white to clear.
  3.  Apply the glitter to the lips ensuring an even coverage - lightly dampen pad to help pick more glitter up.
  4. Brush off the excess glitter and then you have your amazing Glitter Lips!
 * To remove the glitter use an oil based make-up remover. *
